Sometimes after a Reiki class you long to return to that feeling of safety, of being heard, that inexplicable feeling of total acceptance when you’re practicing Reiki with others, even total strangers.

Some people find that personal growth and spiritual development occur safely and naturally in a Reiki environment. Words of My Teacher : My Time with Hawayo Takata

Susan learned Reiki in 1978 from Hawayo Takata, the Reiki Master who brought Reiki to the US from Japan in the 1930s. Mrs. Takata stayed in Susan and Paul's home when they organized classes for her in the San Francisco area. Susan will share stories of her time with Hawayo Takata and reflect on how Takata Sensei ’s embodiment of Reiki continues to illuminate her practice.

Hawayo Takata emphasized that self-treatment is at the heart of Reiki practice. Asked if her students learned to heal themselves, she replied, “That’s number one. If they can’t do that, what is the good." Reflecting on our self-treatment experience brings greater awareness into this core aspect of the practice. Whether we treat ourselves every day or struggle to find the time, we can all benefit from this exploration.

Healing through the Four Aspects and Family Constellation with Paul and Timothy Cunninghamm

An opportunity for Reiki Students to heal family relationships using Burt Hellinger's Family Constellation model and the four aspects of Usui Shiki Ryoho. As we're held by the fullness of our practice, we're led to deeper healing and understanding of our place in the world.

Paul has offered this workshop several times in Europe and participants feel the work has brought them both insight and change in thoughts, feelings, and actions.

Timothy Cunninghamm co-facilitates with Paul. Tim has facilitated Family Constellations for many years with individuals, organizations, and communities.

The retreat begins Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m.and ends Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. The cost is $575 including meals and lodging.

If you want to develop a greater sense of self-awareness, balance, and center, Aikido—the art of peace—is the perfect tool.

Learn to know yourself better, be more open in your relationships, and explore effective ways of working with defensiveness, resistance, adn the use of power. Paul has facilitated these workshops all over the world for the past 20 years—and his students come back year after year. Only 14 spots available. Register early to hold your place.

The workshop begins with dinner on Sunday, the 22nd, at 6 p.m. The cost for the 6-day retreat is $680 and includes all meals and lodging. July 1-3 is $350 and includes lodging for the days between sessions. A $100 deposit holds your place.
